Our mission
Zennström Philanthropies’ mission is to support and engage with organisations which fight for human rights, develop sustainable solutions to climate change and provide opportunities to communities and individuals to realise their potential.
Our vision
Zennström Philanthropies envisions a world in which people live in a safe and stable environment, where people have the freedom to express themselves and realise their goals and where effective communication tools allow the quick and open dissemination of news. It is one in which corruption is fought and honesty and integrity are promoted, and where courageous advocates are the voices of justice, transparency and fairness.
Zennström Philanthropies envisions a world where people are economically empowered to feed and educate their own families. We also envision a world in which the destruction of the environment-- a persistent cause of poverty and injustice-- is stamped out as a result of enough of us taking notice and acting to find and implement solutions to climate change.
Zennström Philanthropies believes in engaging with organisations to take responsibility, raise awareness and translate empathy into action by jolting communities and different actors (organisations, citizens, business representatives) into making change happen.
