What we fund

Zennström Philanthropies: Principle funding - Human rights and Climate Change

Zennström Philanthropies invests in initiatives that fight for human rights and solutions to climate change. We look to not only fund organisations in these areas, but to engage deeply with them, offering more than just financial support wherever we can.

Whilst human rights and climate change make up the Principal Fund, there are other organisations whose work is deeply important, and often complementary, to the work within the Principal Fund.  The Elective Fund was created to support such initiatives. For example, Zennström Philanthropies has funded organisations whose work is focused on microfinance, education for the disadvantaged and support for social entrepreneurs.
